A play that follows the inner revolution of a young man seeking to shake up a dominant way of thinking, through a split personality staged in a comedic tone.
The Gorara association for Arts and Culture presented its play “Rwina” in 2021 at the Mohammed Zafzaf cultural complex in Casablanca.
The play tells the story of Mourad, a young man living with a split personality, who tries to escape his reality by imagining intertwined events. Mourad goes through an inner revolution aimed at overturning a dominant mindset rooted in his society, summed up in a single phrase: “survival of the fittest.” This imagined revolution takes us through a family experiencing a range of situations and fictional conflicts, all in a comedic tone.
