A street theatre performance, blending Moroccan Halqa and Forum Theatre, that questions our resistance to living alongside those who differ from us.
Tale of Noses is a theatre performance adapted from an African folktale, whose story questions our tendency to refuse coexisting with others because of belongings or beliefs that differ from our own.
The aim is to portray real situations, stimulate audiences’ critical thinking, and push them to reflect on the question of tolerance. To that end, the play takes the form of a street theatre performance, in a format that brings together the art of Moroccan Halqa and the technique of Forum Theatre.
The play was created in collaboration with Moroccan artists and Sub-Saharan artists from Congo, Guinea, and Senegal, with the participation of the musical group Cascade de la Soumba.
