Founded in 2016 by artists and social activists, Gorara is committed to three main objectives: democratizing access to culture and art, ensuring continuous training, and engaging in social work with all segments of society. Its actions are based on deep-rooted values, affirming every human being’s right to a society that respects human dignity, while fostering active, creative citizens engaged in managing their environment. Gorara integrates art as a pillar of change, emphasizing the values of solidarity, equality, and "living together." Beyond Morocco, Gorara extends its reach to Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, establishing partnerships with like-minded associations. Focused on youth, it employs various tools, including new technologies, to promote artistic transmission, thereby contributing to the development of a creative society.

The Art and Social Change Laboratory offers artists a space to explore how their work engages with social reality. Too often isolated, lacking resources and recognition, they find here a place for experimentation and exchange. The laboratory aims to break this isolation through sharing and collective work.
